My family and I have been to Thanh Luong nearly a dozen times in the past year. This restaurant is absolutely incredible. The quality of the food is stellar and consistently delicious. My partner has been vegetarian his whole life and loves the vegan chicken pho. I eat meat and I love the vegan beef pho. The soups are so flavorful. My mom loves getting the orange tofu lunch special with the refreshing spring rolls. We also all get bubble tea with strawberry orange green tea being a favorite repeat order. The service is wonderful and we really enjoy every experience we’ve had here! Would highly recommend to anyone!
Vietnamese Vegetarian goes mainstream! We celebrated my mom's BD here and everyone left satisfied. The place is clean and nicely decorated. The servers were friendly and efficient. The Bún Mắm (Fermented Rice Noodle Soup) was available and that was most of us ordered, the broth was spot on (as it was using the fermented tofu as the based along with lemon grass and shallots). We also enjoyed the Enoki Calamari , Mango Salad (Gỏi Xoài) as our appetizers. My mother enjoyed her Combination Vermicelli Bowl (Bún Bì Chả Giò), my niece did not quite finish her Broken Rice (Cơm Tấm Thanh Lưong), my wife liked her Crispy Chow Mein (Mì Xào Giòn Thập Cẩm). As other reviewers mentioned, the portion of each entree was quite generous! I'd stop by if we are in the area again. If you are looking for a great vegetarian restaurant, this fits the bill. Thanks for a memorable meal.
I came for lunch once before and had the crispy chow mein. The combination of seafood, crispy noodles, and savory sauce was delicious! Today I stopped for lunch with my husband. He had the spicy beef noodle soup and he loved it! I had the sticky jicama rib noodle salad and it was very good. I don't know how they make those ribs but they're AMAZING! I asked the waitress for her favorite dish and she brought out the braised eggplant and mushrooms. This dish was fantastic- it reminded me of a dish I had once at a Japanese izakaya. It was terrific and something I will order again and again!! Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable, the food came out fast, and we left very satisfied and extremely full. I can't wait to come back to try more!!!
This place is the best. My wife and I have been coming here since it opened and have never had a a meal that was less than perfect. I'm an omnivore and will eat anything anywhere but my wife is pescatarian and we sometimes have a hard time finding restaurants that have options for her. We found ourselves here again today after stopping at a bubble tea place that had Bánh Mï. We walked in pulled up the menu to find they had no vegetarian option. What kind of place has Bánh Mì and doesn't have Tofu? Oh well their loss was Thanh Loung's gain.
One of the best spots for food in Minnesota. They serve very authentic and well made vegetarian food. We were greeted by such warmth and hospitality from the beginning. There was a wide selection of food choices. We tried the Bun Bo Hue, the best seller, and it was very tasty. The chili oil is made in house and is super fragrant and pairs well with all the dishes. The drink and desert selection offers many good options. I had the Vietnamese coffee and it was amazing. We also tried the tofu dessert and it was out of this world. Later, we learned that the desert was made in house as they grind their soy bean daily. I would recommend this spot to to anyone in town or travelling across the state. We will come back again!
The best vegetarian restaurant I’ve ever dined at! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding our table to order truly delicious dishes. My pick, the sticky-glazed jicama ribs, was outstanding—deep umami flavor with a crave-worthy finish. I’m hooked. Pure plant-based magic! We will definitely be back. Love it!
Everything about this restaurant is awesome and this is a vegetarian/vegan’s paradise. The food is fantastic, and service is prompt. We ordered the braised pepper fish and the sweet and sour soup combo meal. We also took out the spicy beef noodle soup and chowmein. All the food tasted fantastic and I would love to be back again to try more items.
Love this place! Vegan and gluten free and they not only accommodate me, but offer multiple options which are all delicious. Have taken meat eaters there and the jicama ribs have blown them away. I can’t recommend them enough.
An Upbeat place :) (: Udon and curry Tastes deliciously great and undoubtedly healthy ! The service was fantastic. Impressing place for vegetarians with all thumbs up 👍. Spicy meat eaters don’t think twice to hit a 5⭐️ as we all know food here always tastes good. Budget friendly and no queues !
4/11/2026 - My wife and I came here for lunch since we are at ridgedale mall. My wife is trying to vegan for a whole year and found this place close by. Everything is all vegetarian/vegan. My wife got the bun no hue and I got the broken rice plate and bahn mi Togo. The broken rice plate is good, vegan meat was really flavorful, texture of vegan meat could never be like real meat but it was good. My wife was satisfied with her vegan bun bo hue, I did not try it. One thing to point out is there was a lady next to us and she needed more water. This place gives out a pitcher of water so you can serve yourself, but this lady by herself didn’t have any pitcher so she had to ask another customer for their pitcher of water. Overall, good vegan/vegetarian place. It is a bit far for us, but we’ll eat again if we are in the area.
